Ethnic groups compared

 

Some relationships among the various European culture come out from Schneider's study through analysis of folk dance and music.

The tarantella, typical southern italian ancient dance, is compared to the so-called dance of swards.

He marks the analogies between the two dances, both terapeutical actually,

because originally aimed at treating some deseases with the sound of certain musical instruments

and with special gestures connected to that music.
